Deal, 2025 - Traditional Under Stair Storage Unit
This custom under stairs storage project was designed with a traditional look to suit a stunning Victorian home. Featuring shaker-style doors and detailed finishes, the unit blends seamlessly into the period property while offering highly functional storage.

Frittenden, 2025 - Modern Under Stair Storage
This under stairs storage project was all about clean lines and clever problem-solving. The client wanted a sleek, modern under stairs storage unit to complement their contemporary staircase. We opted for flat-fronted doors with a smooth spray finish to match the aesthetic perfectly.

The challenge? A structural post was positioned right where a door needed to go. To work around it, we designed a bespoke folding door that cleverly navigates the post. To ensure a seamless look, we added matching vertical lines across the other doors, creating the illusion of multiple slim panels—even though only one was actually folding.
​
At the open end of the unit, we added minimalist shelving for display or quick-grab storage. It’s a great example of how our custom under stairs cupboard storage can be tailored to fit even the trickiest of spaces.

Tonbridge, 2024 - Traditional Handmade Under Stair Storage Unit
This large handmade under stair storage unit in this beautiful Victorian home has to be one of our favourite projects to date.
We made the beaded doors and moulded skirting to complement the original features of the period home. The client chose oak interior and integrated LED lighting for a stylish and put together look. We integrated a large pull out shoe drawer and coat hooks.

Horsmonden, 2024 - Sleek, Modern Under Stair Storage Unit Design
A great sleek and modern under stair storage unit. We transformed this dead space to maximise space and help this family get organised.
With a dark interior, no shoe scuff showing here, and pull out coat storage their hallway space will always look tidy and the kids will always have a place to store their shoes, coats and bags! We even managed to incorporate a cupboard for the hoover, ironing board and mop into this handmade under stair storage unit.

Brenchley, 2023 - Bespoke Under Stair Storage Unit with Drawers
A wonderful under stair storage project to work on. The clients wanted to contrast the slaked lime colour paint on the outside with the navy coloured interior, which worked really well and meant any the shoes would not make any marks.
This client has a young family so they requested a large under stairs shoe storage drawer for the whole family to use and the smaller triangle holds the children’s school bags, which is lower down and easily accessible by them. Their coats hang in the tall cupboard at the end.
Everything is contained, from coats, to umbrellas, to sports equipment. These particular drawer runners are capable of holding up to 200kg, so no concerns with overloading! The work on the stairs themselves started once we had finished the storage area.

Tonbridge, 2021 - Handmade Under Stair Storage Unit
This was a smaller under stair storage unit, it is a clever use of a smaller space that still manages to serve a vital purpose in the organisation of the home.
Due to the smaller area we installed a pull out coat rail for easier access and to use the full depth of the cupboard. In the smaller middle under stair cupboard they wanted space for bags and umbrellas. We even managed to incorporate a shoe drawer.
The client also commissioned us to refurbish the stairs and so we created the oak base banister rail with contrasting spindles.

Five Oak Green, 2022 - Under Stair Shoe Storage
Another smaller under stairs storage project. This space had a small partition wall that we removed so we could create the largest shoe drawer possible, this client has teenage children with a lot of shoes to organise!
The cupboard contains a hanging rail and shelving. The tiny triangle in front of the drawer is to store the family’s umbrellas.
We ensured no centimetre of space was wasted. Every door and drawer is push to open and soft close.
We always make sure our client’s get the exact storage configuration their family needs.

Ightham 2019 - Under Stairs Storage Unit
A lovely modern space with an oak staircase and glazed balustrade.

We generally build our under stair storage with bases, however this client specifically did not want them as they had a heavy hoover that they did not want to lift it into the cupboard. So we created this beautiful under stair shoe and cupboard storage exactly as they asked.
They have a large storage space with a pull out hanging rail, a large cupboard for the hoover, mop and ironing board and ample shoe storage.
The customer was very happy and we thoroughly enjoyed creating this storage unit to their exact specification.
